Here is another one of my pastel commissions which I completed for this past Christmas.
This was such a fun piece to do as the pose was just so cute and unique! Henry’s soft expression won over my heart and I was instantly drawn to his smiling eye which centred the portrait.
I decided to blend out the pastels softly for the blanket instead of drawing to the edge of the paper as I did not want this to detract from Henry himself. Plus, it’s not often I draw little paws and his little pink toenail is just adorable!
